Hello, and welcome!

Hello, my (symbolic) name is Nellis and thank you for visiting my project's website. You are probably here to find out what this is all about, so without further due; here it is.

Project Nellis: What is it?

In short, it is a life-long path I chose to walk after after coming to terms with my past-life memories and what they mean for why I am here in this realm.

What past-life memories?

I remember being an American ball turret gunner in a Boeing/Douglas B-17 during WWII, European theater of 1942-1943. Over the last few years I have been coming to grips with those memories and how they intertwine with my current life's path. At first, I tried to debunk them in order to get closure. I wanted to prove the memories were "just imagined".

But instead of finding information that debunks them, I found the opposite: a very large number of historical records that match my memories perfectly. To the point of such accuracy that it is impossible for me to have those memories if I was never there.

The sheer amount of second-hand research I would have to complete in order to attain that level of memory, would be insane, and simply put: I never did that kind of research. In fact, air combat is largely under-represented in the historical records compared to ground combat by infantry. Which means; it would be impossible and/or very difficult for someone to attain highly-detailed information about air combat, especially as a B-17's ball turret gunner.

Why the name Nellis?

That name is symbolic and it represents protection/cover/somebody watching my back. And yes, it is a reference to William Harrell Nellis, the WW2 bomber escort pilot who's job it was to protect the B-17 formations -- and who got Nellis Air Force Base to be named after him. I was born as Willem Nelis, which is the Dutch version of the name -- because in this life, I was born in The Netherlands. More on that [[about | on the about page]].

Why is this a "project"?

Because I think the word project describes this journey I am on as an ongoing, developing, and transformational journey. And I have to admit; it sounds catchy to me so that is part of the reason why I chose it :)

What is the goal?

My goal is to contribute to our (Humans) collective understanding of reincarnation and what it means for the bigger picture of this realm. I will do everything in my power to leverage my memories as much as possible, in order to gain as much understanding as I can. If that means actively working together with other reincarnation researchers, then that is what I will do and have already done. The process of getting in touch with people who are interested in hearing what I have to say is already underway.

Back to America

In my past-life, I was severely wounded from [[FLAK]] over The Netherlands, while on the return flight from a bombing run in Germany, resulting in my body's death. It is self-evident to me that either "destiny" or my soul decided it had to be born near the place of death, in order to finish what I was unable to do in the previous life. Which is; come to terms with what happened in the previous life, and make the journey back to America that I was never able to complete.

Beyond that, I wish to apply my experience to help humanity (including myself) gain a better understanding of what it means to make choices in this realm, and the consequences they have beyond the life in which those choices were made.
